MACSTAR GROUP CORPORATION was established in 1984, officially equitized in 2003 (formerly known as Maritime Engineering Supply and Services Joint Stock Company – MASERCO). With more than 40 years of development, MACSTAR GROUP operates in many fields such as: logistics, shipping, Depot, container delivery and repair, mechanical repair... and has expanded its business to new fields: Coastal container transportation, social housing construction, implementation of seaport projects….
Currently, MACSTAR is present in Hai Phong, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Ninh, and Cambodia . The company is a partner of many leading global shipping lines, with its charter capital steadily increasing over the years, reaching VND 227 billion in 2025…

Development stages
1984
Established under the name ‘Marine Construction Enterprise Union’, operating under the Ministry of Transport.
1986
Renamed as the Port Equipment Repair Factory, under the Vietnam Maritime Administration.
1991
Merged and renamed as Maritime Supply and Service Company No. I – expanding into multi-sector operations within the market economy.
2000–2003
Strongly developed new services such as forwarding, container repair, and shipbuilding; equitized in 2003 and renamed as Maritime Technical Services and Supply Joint Stock Company (MACSTAR).
2003–2007
Expanded its network of branches and agents; signed agreements with major transport companies; increased charter capital from VND 4 billion to VND 55 billion.
2012
Established a branch in Cambodia specializing in container equipment repair and assembly.
2014–2016
Increased charter capital to over VND 144 billion through stock issuance and dividend distribution in the form of shares.
2025
Charter capital reached VND 227 billion, marking a sustainable development in both scale and financial capacity.
